    Ball Mounts Ball mounts are 2″ x 2″ and are used to convert a receiver from a weight distributing to a weight carrying hitch. Ball mounts create a ball platform for attaching a hitch ball. The ball mounts or utility hitch bar length are determined by measuring from the center of the pull pin to the center of the hitch ball hole. The drop or rise is determined by measuring from the top of the mount to the top of the tongue (See ball mount selection chart). All 2″ x 2″ ball mount shank holes are 1″, except 48280 and 48282, which have a 3/4″ hole. (DURABLE POWDER COAT FINISH)
